Keep the temperature in check
Extreme temperatures and drastic temperature changes are your glasses’ worst enemies. They can cause damage to acetate frames and lenses. This is not to say that you can’t enjoy the great outdoors with your frames on! Just make sure not to leave your eyeglasses in the car overnight, for instance.
Store your glasses properly
Be mindful of where you keep your eyewear. Not only is that a good rule to adhere to all year-round to avoid inadvertently breaking your glasses by sitting on them or scratching your lenses in your coat pocket, but it’s especially important in the colder months.
Low temperatures cause acetate frames to become more rigid, and thus more likely to break if you drop them on the ground. If your frames are put away safely in their case or collector’s box, the chances of that happening become much lower!

Clear lenses for ultimate comfort
Keeping your lenses clean and fog-free is essential to the quality of your vision. Snow, ice, and condensation make that harder at every turn during the long winter months, which is why it’s always a great idea to have the right tools with you!
